An idyllic loch-side setting and location on the edge of the quaint conservation village of Kenmore provide a stunning backdrop to this courtyard of seven traditional cottages and neighbouring mews. Behind their pretty farm conversion exteriors the courtyard cottages hide a skilful blend of contemporary style and character features, with luxurious modern facilities. Whilst the Castle Gardens Mews houses boast the same standard of interiors and facilities but an architectural-style tailored to maximise their fantastic views of the loch, river and mountains.

Special Features ...
All properties are exceptionally well equipped, some with plasma TVs, under-floor heating, designer kitchens, wood burning stoves, private saunas and outdoor hot tubs – perfect for viewing the amazingly clear star-lit skies against the silhouette of the surrounding mountains. The careful planning and obvious affection for the area of the owners, means that this former home farm to Taymouth Castle (soon to become the UK’s first 6* hotel), can boast a well-stocked deli, excellent restaurant and stylish bar, and yet maintain the peaceful, rural ambience of its location.
Local Knowledge...
Kenmore is prime Highland sports country. Both the riding stables and the first tee of the challenging Kenmore golf course are a minute’s walk of the cottages (winter golf is free to residents and discounted during the peak season). Salmon and trout fishing are available on the doorstep - spectacular ritual opening of the salmon season in mid-January is not to be missed! Hill walking, Munro bagging, mountain biking, and watersports from canoeing to white water rafting can all be done within a few miles. For the more adventurous, off-road driving, quad biking and Highland Adventure Safaris can be arranged nearby. A number of award winning restaurants and cafes are within a short drive including Ardeonaig Hotel, Kinnaird House and Aberfeldy Watermill and Coffee Shop (2007 Scottish Independent Bookshop of the Year).

The eight cottages sleep from 2 to 8+cot and can be rented all year round. Prices range from £346 to £2,435 per week depending on the size of cottage and the time of year. Short breaks also available on request.
